DELIGHT YOUR NEIGHBORS THIS SEASON!
It's time for our 3rd Annual Holiday Lights contest for our community. If you love to decorate your home for the holidays, this is just one more way we can showcase our community and let people know how great it is to be a resident in the Preserve of Pecan Creek.
Contest Rules
• All homeowners, in good standing, in the Preserve of Pecan Creek Homeowners Association of Denton, TX are eligible. Members of the HOA Board and their family members are not eligible to enter.
• Previous winners cannot win the same category in consecutive years
• All lights must be on 6pm until 10pm on December 10th through December 18th.
• You must enter at the link provided below to be included in the judging, pick your category, and submit your entry no later than December 9th.
One award will be presented for each of the following categories:
o Best Themed Display – best display with an organized theme or appearance
o Griswold Display - overabundance of lights, think Christmas Vacation
o Classic Holiday Display – best use of holiday characters, such as Santa, Reindeer, Buddy the Elf, etc.
Awards
One home will be selected in each category as a winner
Award $50 Gift Card
One home will be selected as the Grand Prize winner for the neighborhood but cannot win both.
Award $200 Gift Card
Winning homes will be showcased on our TownSq website and will have a sign placed in the yard designating their award.
Prizes will be awarded to the resident in the event the homeowner does not reside in the property.
Judging Criteria
• The panel of judges are selected from outside the neighborhood.
• Judges select by house address only and are not provided the names of homeowners
• The judging criteria will be based on first impression, originality, creativity, and theme.
